You can call all criminals insane and doesn't deserve execution in that case, whatever crime they've committed, whether it's murder or rape. are you? this is not the case to do your judgement based purely on how you feel about this, that's why i brought up homosexuality, cause to some people it still is worse than murder because they're uneducated and if they did justice based on their feelings half of this community would be executed too. 

what you just said sounds like something trump would say lol that's not how civilized society works. yes he committed a horrible crime but do you know him? are you one of the professionals who did an examination on his mental state? he may just be an awful person in that case sure there should be no mercy but often such people have very deep issues within themselves and often they don't even realize that what they're doing is wrong or the impact it will have.
