Vocals for LG5

Featured Posts

What kind of vocals do you want on LG5? Light vocals like Summerboy or Paparazzi? Crisp strong vocals like Bad Romance? Those deep slurry vocals like Dope/most of her recent performances?

Like, do you want it to be an album that showcases her vocal talent mostly? After hearing that possibly real clip of her recording w/ Marc Ronson and those powerhouse vocals it got me thinking about this. I looooove how strong her voice is now. She's developed her skills amazingly and has such control, but...

I kinda hope LG5 isn't full of belting out long notes & being perfectly precise. We all know she has a fantastic voice, but I'd prefer if she didn't showcase that in everysong (like Xtina has a tendency to do live) Idk if I'm making sense.

But tbh. I'll be thrilled if we ever get LG5:emma:

Interesting question, I agree about 3/4 songs that really show her voice, long notes and then more poppy songs and piano ones (speechless) and of course vocals like bad romance!

I am hoping that she keeps using her powerhouse vocals, with a "pop" twist. I love the strength of her voice this year (especially in performances such as the Sinatra tribute and BANG BANG from jazz era). I think she is going to slay us with a powerhouse pop sound that is crisp and has that amazing rock edge that we heard on Born This Way.

As Dope-esque as possible because I wanna see if the people who complain about it all the time will stick around and constantly bitchmoan about it or finally leave.

I think her 'Dope' vocals are staying. I feel like her era of Jazz and tributes and Till It Happens To You has changed the way she sings now. If you're expecting sweet, girly, Candy, pop vocals then you'll probably be disappointed.

I like the dope voice but I don't like it as much as other ways that she sings. I think she might sing with quite a deep voice but the music should go well with it I hope its quite a dark album but powerful and uplifting at the same time so its not depressing

What? She seems to really be into her Jazz inspired vocals and using good techniques, singing more gutturally. She said she wants the album to have a 'timeless' sound which points towards this as well. I'm just saying that given all the evidence I don't think her sweet, smooth, high pitched, Fame era vocals will ever come back. She's been moving further and further away from them with every era, it's been a slow transition.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Dont worry it should be a great album she knows what sounds good it probably won't be girly vocals but I think she will do pop vocals that the general public will like and that is easy to listen to. It will be great.

I would like to have a mixture of light/ poppy vocals, her operatic vocals (such as in the intro of Goverment Hooker) in combination with some harder adlibs. Not here for an album full of Dope like tracks
