JoeMo 3,882 Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 I was thinking about the applause release and how the song was initially supposed to premiere with the music video because Gaga wanted us to really focus on the visual aspect of the song - and it got me thinking. Wouldn't it be so fun if she released the lead single music video for LG5 with the audio disabled?! Imagine how excited we would all be if she just uploaded the video without the audio and we'd all be guessing the lyrics, it would have us guessing and discussing the theme/style/genre/story behind the song and would get everyone so hyped! I reckon loads of people with Applause listened to the song when it leaked the GP maybe were over it by the time the video got released so maybe this way it would get people talking like OMG I wonder what the song sounds like rather than the traditional "I wonder what the video will look like" approach to the release. And then maybe after 24 hours of the video release tick tick tik tik tick tik BOOM - AUDIO ENABLED, SONG RELEASED ON ITUNES Fun idea?
