I think he did, the issue is the way you gave your interpretation on the matter that bothered all the people that came after you. Next time, I'd suggest you being more constructive in the first post you make. If you want to speak your mind, do it insightfully.

I know that some things need discussion but this isn't the best approach to discuss things.

I will decide what is best and what isnt, and it is a bandwagon, maybe not in marinas case but u cannot deny there is a massive bandwagon to call  dr luke a rapist

It's not how the forum works, you're a little nobody like most of us, as a matter of fact, mods and admin take decisions there, not you. You have to respect a certain "norm" in the way you post not being deliberately a prick to provoke others and start drama. You can introduce your opinion in a more constructive and mature way instead of calling it a bandwagon, which is immature and reductive.

I'm sorry, a bandwagon isn't one when people who actually worked with him come for him. Again, you're wrong.

i mean im willing to accept conversation about this and i can be reasonable but every time i say "dr luke is not a rapist" i get thousands of quotes calling for my ban from the forum. as u can see, i am pretty reasonable.

I ran out of likes, but I completely agree! You obviously didn't have any experiences with rape (based on your stance in this whole case - or at least I hope you didn't), so you may not be able to fully comprehend why so many people are siding with Kesha even without evidence. Rape is almost impossible to prove, unless you go see a doctor after it happened or there's a tape and that's the whole issue here.

Dr. Luke has been called out from both artists and people who aren't associated with the music industry and there are songs about him, tweets from him and texts he sent Kesha that prove how entitled and rude he can be sometimes. He is not a good person and his contract with Kesha will obviously not work out because of how unhealthy their relationship is (Kesha's time at rehab says hi).

However, we still can't prove he actually assaulted her and I am afraid we will never be able to do that, so I completely agree with you in that point. There have been countless cases when it turned out that the victim wasn't an actual victim and accused their alleged rapist for unknown reasons. :(

Still, the main reason why so many people (including myself) are siding with Kesha is because it really wouldn't make any sense to take the world's second biggest record label to court when you are bound to lose. I don't think that you should be banned or reported for simply disagreeing to call someone a rapist, but the way you phrased your first post made it seem like you were very insensitive regarding rape victims and their bravery to finally speak up. :ohno: Please don't feel attacked by this post, but rape cases are almost always based on he said she said arguments and that's why when a victim decides to become a survivor and speak up about the traumatic incident and the painful years of hating yourself, the least we can do is believe them until proven otherwise. When we don't believe them other survivors will stay quiet and we will NEVER be able to break this vicious circle. Doesn't mean that we have to send Dr. Luke to jail or anything, just that both the victim and the alleged offender get the same amount of respect and support until we find out what truly happened.

no. it is how it works. i am not posting anything against the rules, i am not posting anything that would "incite a riot", and i am doing everything correctly. i have no apologies for anything i have ever said. therefore you have no place telling me how to construct my posts

The only reason to keep her in such a contract now would be purely to make a statement. If we are to assume the worst, Sony and Luke will hold Kesha as an example to others who try to take them to court, and Luke may (continually) get off on the power he still holds on her and the fact he can spitefully "punish" her for coming out against him. But as a lucrative entity, she's basically finished (for them). An album released now may be profitable for them (I imagine highly so after all the media blitz) but the next will likely tank. And so will the next. And so on and so on. Kesha will not put out her best work. She's clearly miserable and now the public and her fan base knows how she feels about Dr. Luke and the music she makes with him. She's gained tons of weight and looks so depressed. She can no longer do the fun/sexy/crazy/hippie/party girl thing anymore. That image is completely gone. She won't be into what she makes, so even if the next album gets finished with the type of music Luke wants, the promo will be very, very bad on Kesha's part. I can see her breaking down during interviews, giving lack luster stage performances, going back to drugs, etc. Many of her fans will likely torrent her music so as not to give Luke any money. And everyone will want to talk to her about her relationship with Dr. Luke. She and Luke are basically finished as a pairing. It's over for that. However, Sony could still profit if she is released from Luke and her work with other producers is promoted. Hopefully, Sony will see this.

Luke should cut his losses and renegotiate. I don't doubt he will find another up-and-comer whom he can try to build up to Kesha's level, and who wants the hits and is desperate enough to work with Luke. The industry is filled with aspiring pop-dance singers eager for a Top 10. The sooner Kesha leaves and goes on to do her own thing, the sooner most people will "forget" about what happened here in time for the next "bop".

I do wonder how many established pop stars will continue to stay away from Luke.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
