Exams are finished for this semester - so yay! It's the Christmas holidays now! 

Only one semester of uni left until I'm finally done :cry: can't wait :emma:

It's still available from Amazon and other sellers, but the places I've listed are the stores it would typically go out of stock in first if it's truly going out of print.

All of IU's older albums have been restocked (apart from limited or special editions), so it's odd they haven't kept production of CHAT-SHIRE running. Unless it's because of the whole Zeze/stolen artwork thing? Inb4 it eventually gets reprinted with different cover and without the song :lmao:

Now I have the urge to buy like 5 copies of CHAT-SHIRE just in case it does sell out, so I can sell them for like $100 each in 2 years time :rofl:

So, after my exam today I finally had time to call DHL.

It had one of those annoying automatic phone systems where you had to say the option out loud. Most call systems in the UK are the type of "press 1 for option..." "press 2 for other option..." etc. So I was like... Wait? Which number was I supposed to press? :rip: But I just had to say out loud that I wanted to speak with an advisor. :emma:

So this guy comes on the line and I ask if I can give him my tracking number, he searches and finds there is a flag on that parcel and asks me to wait while I'm transferred to the person who is investigating the issue.

The hold music was this 15 second repeated clip of some really old song I didn't like. And it was SO LOUD. Like, the speaking volume of the operators was really quiet and then switched to this BLARING LOUD hold music. :smh: 

So then the woman I'd spoken to before comes on the line and asks me to wait while she contacts my local depot. Cue blaring loud awful 15 second clip repeated over again.

She then says that they haven't been able to retrive the parcel from Amazon UK, and they were now classing it as "unrecoverable", that I was to contact the seller and tell them it will show in their account as "undelivered due to a DHL error" and sorry for the inconvenience.

1. She called my local depot WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE TO HER. Why didn't she call them 3, 4 even 5 weeks ago when I first contacted them to say I hadn't recieved it??!?!?! Like... Wtf. 
Also. I was supposed to get a phone call last Thursday, which I didn't. I sent them an email on Thursday and was told I'd recive an update within 1 day. I still haven't had a reply.

2. Why have I to contact the seller? It's DHL's fault, so why can't they contact Amazon Japan themselves to appologise and explain what happened. 

UGH :rip: I've emailed Amazon Japan so hopefully will get a refund soon.
I told them specifically in the email that I'd already ordered a replacement, so hopefully they don't ship out more instead of giving me a refund. :rip:

What a mess, what a mess, what a mess, what a mighty big mess

that really sucks. I hate when sh*tty customer service ruins everything. I feel like they knew they wouldn't be able to find it and just strung you along for a while rather than admit it. I wonder if it was actually even at the Amazon UK place or they were just saying that.

Yeah, that's what I wondered the whole time as well. I asked numerous times (both verbally and by email) as to how it even ended up at an Amazon UK warehouse and I wasn't given an answer. 

I'm glad I bought them again last weekend now :lmao: they were delivered on Monday morning so should be on my desk when I go back to work tomorrow.

I just really hope I still get the first press/photo cards... :( It says on CD Japan that they are out of print, Amazon Japan just says the first press version will be replaced with non first press after the first press has sold out... But it doesn't actually say if it has sold out or not :emma:

Do you think the not being able to charge and listen to music at the same time thing will be so much of an issue? 

I think it's the main reasons I haven't upgraded tbh. Plus, I can't find any nice looking in-ear lightning headphones :emma:
