Not only did they perform with huge stage presence and perfect vocals as always, but they let members of a gender fluid dance group open their performance. They really trolled the audience, making them think it's them, but then these high heels & lipstick wearing guys appeared! Only MAMAMOO! Chinese entertainment company, such as 藝恩網, reported that "the ban has just come recently, and existing programs that have passed the review or variety formats that have been formally imported are excepted from this rule". As summarized by the national newspaper publisher 광전총국, the ban on Hallyu has still not been passed down formally, but broadcasting companies have started preparing countermeasure. On the 8th July, after Korea and America announce the deployment of high-altitude missile defense (THAAD) on the Korean peninsula, China started intensifying Hallyu regulation on a case to case basis. Beijing diplomat analyzed that, Donald Trump's election and the demand for Park Geun-Hye resignation have put pressure on resolving the issue surrounding THAAD deployment.
