SNSD have such a large fanbase, and a lot of them will be divided between Jessica and Tiffany (but I'm guessing that the majority of fans will overlap and want them both to do well). As for the others that favour either Jessica or Tiffany then if Jessica is doing better sales wise, the Tiffany fans will pitch in and buy more of her albums and vice versa. Either way, both artists get extra sales since both fanbases will each try and outdo the other. Originally, Tiffany's solo debut was slated for March and after that announcement it was said Jessica's debut would be in March too. Tiffany decided to postpone her mini to "improve the quality" and nothing was said regarding Jessica's. Now that Jessica's has announced a release in May, SM have decided to release Tiffany's in May. Clear Company was bought over by Coridel Group (Jessica's long rumoured partner Tyler Kwon is the current CEO and Chairman of the group, I'm not sure if he also founded it).
