Especially if it really was "forwarded to the voters".... there are about 7000 Academy voters....So this would've at least hindered 500 of them.. It's a huge group of people and simply being a voting member doesn't make you someone important and high ranking. This is the equivalent of someone booing Gaga at the ceremony. It's rude and shows they don't like her, but would have literally zero impact on her odds of winning. (Do you really think they'd listen to some random weirdo about Gaga's eligibility and do you really think they'd give out the email addresses of all the other voters for him to spread his crazy rants?)
