she had no clue. god. not everyone knows gaga's deepest secrets or past. that statement alone does not connote any sexual harassment history. tina fey's commenting on her popularity.

god you people looking for **** when theres none

I don't think you get the joke.

I understand the joke perfectly.

Given the context of what Gaga was saying though about her trauma, I found what Tina said about it to be really disappointing - even if she was joking. I have listened to the interview & I know Tina Fey's brand. I'm not one that is prudish when it comes to comedy too. Joan Rivers' comment re: Courtney Love looking like Kurt Cobain's resurrected corpse whilst drugged will be carved onto my gravestone when I join Joan tbh.

Given Tina Fey is rather intelligent and that she witnessed Gaga's performance and heard Biden's speech re: sexual assault, you'd think she'd have some idea about why Gaga performed TIHTY, right?

I'm not trying to start some sort of feud between the 2, I want to know what you thought of her joke re: Gaga no longer hiding her trauma for the world.

She obviously missed the context of the comment and didn't connect it with the sexual abuse topic.  Innocent mistake. Don't create drama from nothing.

Girl pls. I found her comment to be in bad taste. I rarely become 'outraged' at things.

I'll reply to this with another quote:

She is actually throwing her a compliment that Gaga is massively popular again

Tina didn't mean any harm by it she simply made a joke about how popular Gaga is now since she has literally been watched on TV by more people that any other person on earth.

Lets not act that Tina somehow ripped into Gaga and rape survivors, its the reach of the year for sure

It's typical of Tina Fey's humour to purposefully take a statement out of context in order to make a joke about it. It's just a harmless joke :) It's actually kind of a compliment I think, she's just commenting on how Gaga has been all over the media lately.

I love so much about Tina Fey and her comedic talent but like most thin-lipped white women she has a very ugly, judgmental trait in her DNA and can be very insensitive and cruel to people she just doesn't like. I would never in a million years call anyone including Paris Hilton "a piece of ****" but people like her and Chelsea Handler are just too old and white to know that irreverence on its own no longer has any value in comedy anymore and that it just comes off as ignorant and ill-informed

There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled.
