I honestly feel sick from some of these comments in these recent threads.

i dont doubt she was abused in sone way. I wouldnt be too shocked tho if she purposely gives off impression it was rape without actually saying it but in reality the abuse was more subtle

I personally think she was coerced into having sex, thinking she had to let it happen because she was vulnerable and dependent on him to break into the industry. This is based on everything she has said on the subject starting in 2010/11. Im still confused if that is actually technically consisered rape or not, though its definitely extremely messed up and manipulative.

I kind of think this type of situation is more psychologically damaging because the victim has some choice. It would be hard to not blame yourself and always wonder, "would i have been this successful if i didnt go through that?" its like a mar on their entire career. I remember Gaga said she couldnt enjoy a lot of great moments in her career because she hated herself.

But Gaga is trying to bring attention to the subject, not towards her, so i applaude everything she is doing. 

Anyway, this is just my opinion so dont shoot me.

Yeah. I also think it was a more subtble form of abuse like what u just said. I would consider that rape also just a lower degree (just like theres varying degrees of murder)

 

I doubt it was forced rape.

 

Most rapes i think are more subtle not an obvious forced incident involving physical force or drugging someone. But such forms get less attention. People are also reluctant to bring it up cuz like u said, the victim has some level of choice (after all being pressured and forced are two different things) and so the victims feel guilty for allowing it to happen and dont usually talk about it
