Do you think Gaga will sing her old songs in a different way?

She was good pre-2015, but Cheek to Cheek, the tributes and Til It Happens To You really elevated her into a whole new singer.

I think she'll rehearse and possibly even revamp her old songs into versions which allow her to showcase a more vocal side to her old pop hits. Honestly, I'm very looking forward to it. I was watching some performances from the Born This Way and ARTPOP eras, and despite knowing they are the same Lady Gaga, I can't help but think they are two different women. The Gaga we have now is just, too talented  (and also too humble).

So do you expect major changes to her future performances of ha old hits?

I hope she'll sing some of them in a cabaret/jazz version.

I'd rather her not always perform her old hits on new tours. Save them for special events in years to come, I don't think it's necessary to always perform past hits at every tour. Like with her new tour, I'd rather her just perform all new songs from the album instead of the old ones.

I really want the 'old' Gaga back for a bit, really.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love where her career is taking her in terms of critical acclaim; but I disagree that she should continue to move away from pop. I want the performer back.

True but including your most famous hits attract GP to fill stadium/arena sits. They are going to only attend her show if they know the songs on the setlist.

I didn't mean a genre switch. I meant it as in her changing her vocal style. The instruments are probably going to remain pretty much the same.

This but with her best songs like: TEOG, BR, BTW, PF and JD.

that's what excites me the most about her new tour. Out of all of her songs, the only one that has always been performed "different" was Paparazzi.

Spoiler

For The Fame Ball they added notorious new stems and 2 remix breakdowns in between, The Monster Ball and BTWB performances were a bit more like the original song and the one from the artRave had a really dark instrumental remake, which she also sang in a more theatrical way.

I hope she revamps Poker Face, Just Dance and Alejandro, leaves Bad romance and Born this way the same and performs a short acoustic version of Applause (like the one from Sukkiri)

I'd like the originals of Just Dance, Bad Romance (with a rock vibe), and Applause, and different versions of Poker Face (acoustic), and a country medley of You And I and Born This Way (Country Road Version)

I don't mind if she revamps some of her past hits, but some of them are pop/dance  songs that need to remain pop/dance songs. I'm sorry but I'm not here for acoustic/panio versions of Poker Face and Bad Romance.

Just Dance and Poker Face are more rock music than anything else, it's a bit the same for Poker Face. This one is more pop though. There are many ways to go around her music. What you just said was very reductive, it's a good sport if she really goes back to her songs and brings something new that goes along with her new sound. And it doesn't have to be a piano version.

Reductive is a strong word, but okay. Maybe I shouldn't have said that her songs have to remain pop, it's just that some of them don't sound that good acoustically, like Poker Face. I always hated her piano versions of that song. That said, I'm all for a rockier version of her old hits, or something like that. I love when she explores other genres than pop, it's just that some of her songs are better in their original pop form, at least in my opinion.
