It will be nice if the people who attack me will also go after some of the users that attack Sam Smith in very ugly ways. Gaga and Diane were favorites, but they lost in their race with the second favorite. It happens every year in one of two categories. Its ok that you like the other one more, but try to show the winner some credit for his work. Here we dont talk about Mtv Awards. Thats the way that people voted and at the end of the day, we should be happy that Gaga was able to perform again on the Oscar stage and that she got recognition for her work with a nomination. She has enough time to win it.

I love Sam Smith, and usually take up for him on this site, but this song wasn't a good song. It wasn't even a good Bond song. His performance of the song was awkward and one of the worst performances I've ever seen him give. Sam's song, and his weak performance, deserves the warranted criticism. It winning doesn't negate the pinion that many believe it shouldn't have.

Stop telling fans that they should be happy, less than twenty four hours after they saw those two performances. Everyone saw the audience's reaction to Gaga's performance, and they are seeing all the support for TIHTY all over the Internet and media sites. They are reacting to all of these factors.

You preaching to people isn't helping anything. Give it a rest.

I feel like most of the Oscars voters didn't listen to any of the songs, unless they were played on the radio and when they voted for WOTW they thought they were voting for the best one. I feel like when Lady Gaga performed TIHTY they knew that they had f***** big time and that they would receive major backlash for choosing S*m's song over her's.

A voter recognised he hadn't listened any of the songs and that he only "had kinda listened" WOTW. He also mentioned TIHTY but he didn't had listened the song

see? that makes me sooooo angry on so many levels. they should sit all the voters in that damn theater and make them listen to all the songs. that would take what? like 20 minutes max.

I Met Lady Gaga On February 7th, 2016; Attended Superbowl 51 and Coachella 2017.

I think that Sam got a good reaction. Of course, not as good as Gaga one, but thats impossible. There were rape victimis on stage.

I agree that it isnt one of the best Bond themes, but lucky for him he only had to compete with songs written this year. And he won almost everywhere. Im not really telling people to be happy, but maybe they should be more respectfull.

No, he didn't. His performance wasn't good.

Are you new here? People here are not respectful, not to anyone...not to any artist, (including and especially Gaga) or for any cause, or any current event in the world! Why woukd they be falling all over themselves now to be respectful to a lame song?

Just accept that people are upset, ...or find some Sam Smith fan club.

Well. I think it was a good performance and I am not the only one. You think diferently, but thats ok. People can be upset and still remain respectfull.

Lol.. nominated for what? It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity she had yesterday. Yes she might get nominated some other time in her life but it most likely won't happen for a VERY long time. So throw that EGOT idea out. It's for the best.

I mean Rachel she was nominated for support actress... I felt sad for her.. I think she deserve it , that my opinion
