Thw worst of all is that Gaga s performance was the most "elaborate" and it was the last one, similar to Glory last year. We were all expecting the win... I am so sad right now but its ok... she will have more chances to win it. Also poor Diane... 8 nominations and no wins

I love Gaga and everything but I was never a fan of TIHTY since the start not gonna lie. Whatever, hope she can move on from this and deliver some more music asap.

I think this performance was definitely better than last year.. This year every person in Oscar were moved by this song. It was clearly see that someones eyes was littlebit watery. I believe that after yesterday's performance, people will think about Gaga that she can SING and WRITE songs. 
    When I watched that for first time (not in live), after 10 second i started to cry , it was very emotional performance, I have ever seen. I'm so proud of MY IDOL.. I think, believe and know she will win Oscar in future. It is just matter of time.

Let's get real here. No matter how bitter you are, from actual musical/composition point, Writing is a superior song. The orchestration/instrumental alone is pretty decent. However, TIHTY is veeeery basic in every possible way and brings nothing great expect The message behind it. So yeah....

And what Backlash and GP stuff?! Noone cared and havent mentioned anything expect bitter monsters.

Writing's On The Wall is just a little boring song that tried to be as big and touching as Skyfall and miserably failed. Let's not even start with the whiny vocals..

Till It Happens To You is alot more stricking as a song and a lot more mature in its sound and composition.

I wasnt talking what song you prefer or vocals or that. From musical composition point of view The usage of harmonies, chord progression and usage of chords, trasitions, intrumentation, orchestration, melodies and usage of counter melodies etc. Are much better on Writings. And nothing less mature...  TIHTY is very cliche and basic from that point of view. (Not saying Writing is some Masters piece, just better on musical merrits)

Which ever song you prefer is a matter of taste.

Lol.. nominated for what? It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity she had yesterday. Yes she might get nominated some other time in her life but it most likely won't happen for a VERY long time. So throw that EGOT idea out. It's for the best.

The GP, social media, new sites, online entertainment and music sites, other celebrities, morning shows, etc. are all calling TIHTY the song that should have won. Sometimes the better choice loses snd a surperior choice is snubbed. TIHTY was that snub this year. 

That's all people are saying. There is no reason for you to be this argumentative over this issue, especially on this site the day after the awards, other than just wanting to stir **** up. Give fans time to vent a little, instead of flying in with your arguments and negativity.

It will be nice if the people who attack me will also go after some of the users that attack Sam Smith in very ugly ways. Gaga and Diane were favorites, but they lost in their race with the second favorite. It happens every year in one of two categories. Its ok that you like the other one more, but try to show the winner some credit for his work. Here we dont talk about Mtv Awards. Thats the way that people voted and at the end of the day, we should be happy that Gaga was able to perform again on the Oscar stage and that she got recognition for her work with a nomination. She has enough time to win it.
