With critically acclaimed performances like the 2015 Oscars, and singing the National Anthem, Gaga has been on a praise bender. That is, until now. Ever since the Bowie Tribute, Gaga has been garnering a lot more hate on social media, and this time it's more than the average Madonna fan. Now with her past collaboration with R. Kelly and Terry Richardson shinning a negative light on her anti-rape campaign, the hate continues to escalate. Tell me, Is it becoming trendy to hate Gaga again? It kind of scares me to be honest. Surely as fans you have noticed a shift. It is imperative that Gaga not only kills her Oscar performance but also wins because if she duds they will literally eat her alive. I am baffled by how hungry the GP is to see her fail. They pounce at any time she takes a misstep. Perhaps this is an overreaction, but I have seen an oddly alarming amount of hate come her way these last few weeks. I didn't expect her to be praised forever but this stuff almost feels like 2013, and the general public are VITAL in terms of buying her next album. What are your thoughts? Gaga has just been "normal" to say, and she went all out with the Bowie tribute (which a ton of people liked BTW) but some people just have an opinion. the hate takes like two days to fade out, then people find something else to complain about. It all boils down to Gaga reaching more people and receiving more media coverage because of her performance of the National Anthem, her Grammys tribute to Bowie and now her performance at the Oscars. The more exposure she gets, the more people are going to talk about her - fans and haters alike. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
