Blackwillow 2,200
As you Gaga set herself apart from basic pop singers. Do you think Katy and Nicki can keep up with Gaga ? Thought?

androiduser 7,438
You know, it amazes me how fans always think that Gaga is without comparison above all her pop contemporaries, yet all they do is compare her to these so called "lessors" is order to make themselves feel good about her. LePetitGAGABLover 21,234
Success wise? Yes. Talent-wise? Not a chance in hell. Especially Nicki. She's a rapper, not a singer.
Prismatic 4,789
Yes, but Katheryn's not quite there yet with impact and Grammy. Aside from that, Stefani & Katheryn are neck to neck, both got sales (one album seller and other single seller) and both can gross big. Onika. Sorry no. Iwontell 7,312
I think they run in such different lanes that it's really hard to compare... I mean, I could reverse the question and ask "could Gaga be as widely accepted and as commercially viable as Katy or Nicki?"...probably not (she has been once, but could she do that again?)...will Katy and Nicki magically develop the chops and personal magnetism of Gaga? I don't see that happening either... ...so yada, yada, yada, "oranges and apples". ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you. Pierre 10,480
No, they play safe most of the time, nothing really outstanding. ❝Is not blue, not turquoise, not lapis. It's actually cerulean❞.
SamJ 8,008
I think they are too different to compare I think Katy takes the route of safe pop hits to gain success whereas gaga tries to earn success in much more creative ways through pop. I personally don't think Katy is talented enough to match Gaga's creative in her pop music and Nicki Minaj is no where near either gaga or Katy even in terms of being a household name
Guest
Gaga loves music, she doesn't care about #1,more about how we love the Music.
