Kelly Clarkson Gives Emotional Performance on Idol

Kelly Clarkson returned to the show that made her a household name last night and performed her latest single "Piece by Piece". Before you watch, make sure to grab a box of tissues, you'll tear up. Keith Urban and JLo were crying. Kelly was crying (understandably, the song's lyrics are so personal) and she had to stop for a moment. I love her so much.

After this performance, the song now sits at #1 on US iTunes. You go girl! Maybe "Piece by Piece" the song, will be her comeback song

I cried like a ****ing baby and I didn't even care that my friends thought I was being silly, the lyrics hit home so bad for me I'm still not over it

I had forgotten Keith Urban's dad just died 2 months ago, so i think that could've been why he was so upset. I just wanted to hug him...and kelly...and J Lo.

This is the first time I've heard this song and wow.  This is what a #1 sounds like ladies and gentleman.  What a difficult song to write.  Not just from the experience but from the vocal arrangement to the lyrics to fit just right is impeccable.  No shade but let's be real here honey pies, if you think Work deserves the top spot, then one hasn't constructed or been part of the anatomy of writing a heart felt ballad.
