I took the top 4 female artists from each year. Which line-up is your favorite? Gaga doesn't necessarily have to be in it, because there could be other girls in her years that you don't like. So think more in terms of OVERALL.

Also, some may be a little surprised to see Miley on the 2009 list, as i was at first, but she actually had a pretty big year. 

She had two Top 5 hits:

The Climb: #4

Party in the U.S.A.: #2

and a #18 hit - Hoedown Throwdown

 

And an EP that went platinum. 

And her first ever World Tour

I loveddd Robyn's album, it deserved much more success in the States. And I believe Katy Hudson was #5 on the list, so she just missed the cutoff

That was my favorite year ever (those 3 albums that I've listed are my all time favorite). Well at least Robyn's single slayed the stated. Shame. with Katheryn.

Robyn's album was amazing too. These Swedish really know how to deliver a good/fun album
