Wendy Williams "Rihanna will never be a legend but Beyonce will"

Rihanna is only for now. In 20 years no one will sing to her music or watch her live performing.

I agree with Wendy Williams.

Wendy has no idea what talent is, and her observations about music in particular are ridiculous and shallow. But I agree with her on this.

I agree. Rihanna is just a vegetable that spills out hit singles but Beyonce has always been on top of her game even at her lowest. People love to see Beyonce live because she puts on a show. Rihanna is had to postpone her tour and minimize from Stadiums to theaters and small arenas because the majority of the attendance were 400 alive people and 10,000 ghosts because people like her music but they dont care to see her twerking her bony ass for 2 hours.

LOL. Not to mention that her vocals are not good, she has no rhythm (which is weird since she's from the islands), and her concerts are so bad. She comes out late, high, and does the same dry ass move for like 2 hours. None of her #1 singles have had any huge impact or legacy either. It would be insulting to call this girl a legend.

It's science, bitch

I do agree as of right now, but like... Rihanna is still only 28 :rip: I don't think she'll necessarily be considered an icon or legend in the future because I don't think she has really permeated culture like a lot of other stars, but it does baffle me when people talk about her like she's a flash in the pan when she's been making hits for ten years. There's obviously something about her that people like or all those songs would've just been given to another girl.

A lot of y'all are basing your answer off of how you feel about her personally. She is a force to be reckoned with. She doesn't have mild success like selena or demi. She is a super star. You can't deny that.

The only reason why she has had the success she's had is because of her team and how they market her. As you see, once she went to Roc Nation her career has fallen apart to pieces because the smoke and mirrors aren't there anymore. Not to mention her attempt at alt-r&b. Now its back to her dry island sound and using Drake for hits.

I completely agree. The Navy can call me salty all they want but they are no different when they come for Beyonce and Lady Gaga's chart success and talent. The fact that it took Rihanna 7 albums to get a number one album speaks for itself. Calling Rihanna the black madonna or modern day whitney houston is insulting to those artists. She can't sing, has horrible rhythm and should probably hire Boomkack, like I understand why her tour isn't doing impressive.

Right now I agree with her but we don't honestly know what could happen, she may surprise us. That being said I enjoy Rihanna's music more than Beyoncé's. But my favorite Bey songs slay Rih's discography. :duck:

I agree and disagree at the same time. I don't think the performance of Anti is really fair to bring into it because it's been a mess :rip: But I mean... Every major star has a great team behind them, no matter how talented they are. I think it's really easy and unfair to say that Rihanna has no part in her own success just because she has a great team. Otherwise, why doesn't everyone have as much success as she does? Not saying she's incredibly talented or even deserves as much as she's had, but I don't think it's all down to marketing.

No we don't. Neither do you, neither does Wendy Williams.

Amazing how so many members here are able to know what's to happen for her :)

Now come on... can't sing? I mean she's not Whitney or even Gaga but can't sing? Let's be real
