Freeing Kesha from her contract would do nothing to help any of his current or future victims if he is guilty. As far as I know, you need a lot stronger proof in a criminal case than a civil case. If they don't think she has enough evidence for a civil trial, I don't think there's any chance she could win a criminal trial. On another note... If Kesha recanted her testimony before, that's not necessarily a strike against her. We know that abusers threaten abused people if they come out about what they've been through. During R. Kelly's trial, one of the girls suddenly recanted her testimony. And during some other trial (it could've even been R. Kelly's, can't remember), another girl recanted her testimony because she wanted to live in peace, not have a court case taking over her life. This happens a lot, and we need to take it into consideration. I really wonder what's going on with the evidence. One article said that Kesha's doctors from the rehab thing said contact with Dr. Luke could be "life threatening." But apparently, no doctor's testimony was presented? Also, that Instagram picture of Kesha on Dr. Luke's bed was never claimed by her to be a picture of the event. That started with some Twitter user saying "this was when he RAPED her... disgusting" and it caught on (and he deleted the photo after that). Kesha has not been sensationalist about this at all - she hasn't asked for pity from the media or talked about Dr. Luke on Twitter. All the attention this case is getting is because she has fans that care about her and, apparently, powerful allies in the music industry. Kesha isn't smearing Dr. Luke. And that maybe Gaga's team denied Kesha's lawyer's claim so that she would avoid the mess that would come with trying to prove rape allegations. People speculate on who assaulted Gaga but no one actually knows for sure. Why have Dr Luke and Gaga avoided each other for so many years when they're both so elite in pop music? I was gonna explain in detail why I said it (and it partially should have been an overlooked comment actually) but i knew you would just take one word from it and twist the whole thing like in the other thread so I gave up your opinion won't always be superior, i won't try to fight anymore over which one of us is more correct when talking about kesha but i do know for sure that in many aspects of life it's better to see the bigger picture, take at least a few different points of view into consideration before making up your mind about something. i think you're the rudest person i met here so far, so quick to judge.
