If a tweet about Katy Perry can be claimed as 'evidence' then so can a video featuring Kesha herself. ... And I said leave because you said this forum was pathetic. It's not at all rare for abused people to protect their abusers. See the LaToya Jackson case someone mentioned above. Her career was just starting, and like Gaga, she may have thought this was normal (Gaga said she never said anything because she thought "this is what adults do"). And if Dr. Luke threatened her, well, that's even more reason not to expose him in court. Kesha's lawsuit states that Dr. Luke convinced Kesha to drop out of school at 18, which would be a bit more than 9 years ago. 2006-2007? Not sure how that jives with their claim. In any case, that lawsuit was settled out of court. I think it's telling that this isn't the first time Dr. Luke's been accused of intimidation and using date rape drugs. All these Ke$ha vs Dr. Luke, Gaga vs. Rob Fusari are none of your business, don't you have enough things to worry about ? And to be honest, if you're going to judge someone just because you feel they might be guilty, and support someone just because you feel they are innocent, then something is wrong you. We no more have facts to say that Ke$ha was abused by her music house, than say Ke$ha didn't respect the contract she signed with her music house. Please have the decency to respect others feelings, and keep your "thoughts" and "probabilities" to yourself, until we know the truth. I've heard quite a few rumours that she will not be continuing her work with him and I hope she doesn't, it wouldn't be great for her image. A part of me think Kesha really wants to be free so she can do her own thing creatively and get away from the "Tik Tok" autotune sound... I am not twisting this up, but it would be awful if Kesha planted rape stories to try and gain leverage over Sony so they would relinquish the contract. More constructively she could have appealed to the label to let her be more authentic on her next record... IF this indeed was all a ploy to get out of her contract.... which, like someone above me said, this isn't black and white this is 60,000 shades of gray.
