PopThatArt 2,193
Iconic imagery is something I hope the era has though, there hasn't been any really great imagery in music at all for the past couple years. Go see A Star is Born

Alejandro was a massive radio hit worldwide so that made it general public friendly and born this way was sending such a cultural message to the world so both were guaranteed to be hits. Songs like Judas which I do love by the way were ones which the general public didn't seem to bothered about
SamJ 8,008
People who are saying I don't want gaga to do radio hits for the general public I don't think realise who they are fans of gaga is one of the biggest POP stars on the planet if not the biggest pop put her on the map and it is what she is good at so I don't know why people don't want her to continue to be a successful pop star

We are fans of Gaga the musician, vocalist, and artist. We are not necessarily fans of the pop industry or pop music in general.

The GP will love it and so will I.... this way it is less likely for them to get tired of the weirdness and apprecaite it more when they get it at VMAS or her concert!! I ADORE CLASSYGA I LIVE FOR CRAZYGA BUT I STAN FOR SLADYGAGA
Naufri 7,424
I think the most unpredictable the last year has been precisely classyGa, OscarGa, and AnthemGa.
Born Brave 2,072
I can't at people saying "THE GP NEEDS GAGA, ITS SO BORING WITHOUT HER". It just exposes the absolute fishbowl nature of it all. And it's really disrespectful to people that have been making music while Gaga hasn't been. Lana has put out some great music since Gaga's last release, Marina put out FROOT which I am in love with, Ellie Goulding has been working extremely hard, 1989 just won AOTY and had some great music on it. Not to mention all the other artists that I have discovered. The music world continues whether Gaga is a part of it or not, although she's my favorite artist but I don't stop listening to music when she's on hiatus out of some loyal, moral code or something. The GP doesn't sit around and think all day, "gee, I wonder when Gaga is coming back". It just doesn't work that way. If the music is good it won't matter if she's pushing boundaries or not. I know that the music world continues without gaga and of course I like lots of new music by other artists you have mentioned but the music scene seems a lot less experimental without her releasing new music she is such an influential figure that she encourages other artists to push more boundaries aswell making the music industry more interesting

Even if she doesn't, Gaga can still continue to make music, entertain and perform for as long as she wants to. Look at that girl in your avi. Her last two albums haven't been successful. Is she still making music?
