I'm starting to get annoyed with her. I've honestly never felt Gaga was annoying but I'm honestly starting to feel weirdly dissapointed and dissatisfied with her.

She is still young. Not some legend who has been around for three decades. She is starting to take too long on her albums.

I'm thinking late March for the single, no idea about the album, though. I never thought it made sense to have even a month of space between the single and the album, though  leaves a lot of time for people to forget and stop caring if you ask me...but no one did so.

The past year or so was just an image repair. After LG5 I expect things will be regular and streamlined.

haha sit the **** down. you dont have to be a well seasoned legend just to take time in between albums. you and the majority of this fan base are just so use to everything being churned out like butter, quick, easy-bake-straight out the oven pop dribble. i'd rather she take time to actually progress musically and become a better writer than just release sub par crap just to please impatient fans like you. 

and by the way, her tributes are the best performances shes given in her career. i hope vocally and musically she's found herself in those performances more than anything.

People are going to come after you for this but I empathize with you. This is how I felt during the wait for ARTPOP. It felt like she wanted to do everything except for be a musician. Luckily though the wait for that era broke me in and has made me realize that we could endure anything. Actually though the gap between Born This Way *single* and Applause compared to Applause and LG5's lead single is actually more vast now. This is officially the longest wait we have ever experienced but there's so much happening right now it's not so bad. IWYL was a good appetizer but it was just a dang cover, and all she has done lately are covers. But at least she is riding a wave of good fortune this time. People aren't wanting her to fail, she's not the butt of jokes anymore, people are taking her seriously. But yes, again, I feel you. For an artist who spends a lot of time talking about how she is so serious about music she spends a lot of time not putting out music... but I have faith.

So to some fans in this thread Gaga working with Mark Ronson all of a sudden has pushed the ENTIRE era back from late Feb/early March whatever to December... Guys the overdramatics is real. She can work on a track while having a single out I'm sure, like it's ****ing lady gaga and it doesn't take 11 months to finish a song. Just chill out

Go be a KatyCat. Like Gaga said her albums take so long because she does the work herself. She doesn't owe you music as fast as she can put it out.

if she owes us anything at all it's a killer pop record and SHES WORKING ON IT. If waiting is that hard then go get a hobby because your angry posts won't get you an album any quicker.

The fact she'll be working again with Ronson doesn't mean anything - in the end, Venus was created barely 3 months before ARTPOP was released.

However, I don't feel like LG5 is that close: first, we need to get out of this award season and wait a couple months for her to fully focus on finishing the record and planning things. Summer doesn't seem good strategically to release anything, so I'm aiming at May OR September... Single in May, album in September...?

If i'm not mistaken she was still working on heavy metal lover (or maybe even more songs, not sure) after the release of born this way (the single) so it's not completely impossible for her to keep working on the album and have a lead single release coming soon
