Has the Bowie tribute influenced Gaga?

Does anyone else think the David Bowie tribute has influenced Gaga, perhaps at least in as much as her look for the era?

I remember her saying at the Globes something along the lines of she hadn't worked out the look yet, and she seems to have taken to the orange hair, perhaps as a longer lasting tribute to Bowie, which I think really suits her.

I hope so! Orange hair really suits her and it'll be really distinct and it'll stand out if she used it for LG5.

I don't mind the hair colour for the next era. It's a subtle nod to Bowie, but she does need to move away from the Bowie looks. It's getting to the point where people are asking whether Gaga is straight copying instead of paying homage.

I actually wouldn't mind the orange hair if she didn't style it like Bowie. It'd be a nice way to pay tribute and it's a color she's never done before! If she had long orange hair (styled like the Oscars and Grammy's last year) with the classy and beautiful fashion she's been sporting recently- it would be the perfect blend of LADY & GAGA.

Wouldn't mind some more glam-rock outfits, but I don't like the orange hair. It was good for the performance, but I wish she would change it back.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

But Gaga never took any of his looks.. she only did the thunder and the pain on face.

She never directly took any of his looks agreed, its always been subtle, apart from the lightening bolt and Applause single cover. But she does tend to reference him quite a bit, particularly in the Fame era.

Along with the tribute and now even after that, the androgynous 'Ziggy Stardust' look Gaga has it's a little much. It will end up backfiring like the Madonna comparisons did.

No, the tribute cannot change the direction of an entire album that has been in the works for this long.

The LG5 Era has not yet started, so this is a mini-pre-era perfectly timed for Bowie.

I like the orange hair, I hope they just adjust her make-up a little bit because it's washing her out in some of the pictures I've seen.

Lowkey hope the "fox blonde" hair makes a return

I hope the tribute influences her next era from an aesthetic point of view but not necessarily with the orange hair. There's a lot of other great ways to go about it, imo. He was a huge influence on early ARTPOP era from an appearance standpoint anyway. I am sure his influence will remain regardless.

I don't think so. It's just something between eras. Her little phase. The mini Bowie era.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

REALITY

I was actually thinking the same thing: the bright orange hair actually suits her really well—but then again, almost any color hair looks great on Gaga. I personally wouldn't mind if she used that hair color for the LG5 era. She'll definitely stand out, both figuratively and literally.
