Look at 1:07 in the background, they used other star effects which we didn't see and look a lot better in this video...

It actually looks really 3D and also the backing looks better..

She probably changed 80% of the original idea --"

Yeah probably. Like I attended an Imagine Dragons concert and the lasers and effects were flawless but through the videos I took it looked like this video, just eh. So imo it was probably flawless considering she got an standing ovation by everyone

Me too! On the Smoke and Mirrors tour, I got a video of the lasers during Friction and stuff and I watched the video the next day and it looked like big flashlights flickering

Also at 4:10 she was really using the sensors to create an effect, but we saw nothing.. Maybe some things didn't work?

This is where'd I'd argue that Intel probably should have thought about how they could use their tech so that it can be seen and appreciated by the millions watching it on TV instead of the few thousand who were able to see it in person. To the general viewer, this was just a tribute performance, not an incredible display of technology. I can fully appreciate that it would have looked better in person, because both the BTWB and artRAVE looked incredible in real life compared to videos, but the difference is that neither of those were being broadcast to millions of people at home on TV.

It was! but it's such a shame that it's hard to capture on film/camera. I remember the big screens in the arena couldn't even capture it. Same thing happened during the artrave. I'm surprised Intel didn't supply cameras that would do the performance justice

Please:

Example : Gaga is moving a lot at 3:50 something happened in the room but not on our screens. I'm pretty sure. she didn't move for nothing?

i wonder about this to. Especially why the audience is laughing at 2:51? I have a feeling they see more then us.

Also I think nowadays it's hard to have a tv audience understand live effects, because they are now so used to special effects, they just assume it was done beforehand. The screens for example. It wasnt that clear Gaga had any real control over what was seen.

All I can say is my colleagues who just saw the performance al were like: Oeh and Ah, went it started, do the effect of the facemap did work well.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

The performance was horribly filmed by The Grammy crew. You could barely see any of the tech because of horrible lightning and her vocals were barely audible.

Did you hear the feedback during Adele's performance in the beginning of her performance?  It was bad.  Lots of mistakes on behalf of the Grammy crew.  Not blaming them because that job is not easy, just sharing what I noticed.

I think the Curie hologram would have looked better if the effects were more like particles than like fog. The Intel video showed off a sparkling effect which is a lot more apparent.

Is there a video of what the audience saw? Like a recorded version by someone in the audience?

Either way, if the effects were 3d, they'd only appear 2d on video.

Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.

Like the part when she want to the right, and they showed the screen I'm sure the effect was in 3D live and when she said 'Turn to the left' there was something happening

another shot before we kiss the other side
