The maturation I wanted to see was there and then some, She come along long way since ARTPOP such a command performance, her dancing was tight and in step and I gotta tell ya I was kinda surprised at how many costume changes she got in there as well. stage is set lg5.1..:)

If she performed this a few months ago she would be dragged to hell and back

so we can be happy gaga is in a good place now

it was good, but Intel was the biggest mess of the night..

Just finished watching all the performances... If I had to choose three best it would be :

1. Kendrick

2. Gaga

3. Adele

Yes, #3 is Adele despite the fact that she had sound problems, you could see that she was trying and she still delivered a good performance with all the problems..

Kendrick just killed it, it was the best performance!

Gaga's performance was awesome too, I got chills at the beginning with her face, and her voice, omg she killed all the songs. Technology, well, not so "uninventable" but hey..

The rest of the performances are mostly boring to me, nothing special from anyone tbh. Maybe Lionel tribute was cool too!

The basics she should have covered, besides the high tech:

The main problem is that there were too many songs for such a short time, but isn't it just obvious..?

- Her voice wasn't great, again why does she sing so low? Her voice worked very well for "Fame" though. She could have done a better job with "Space Oddity".

- Her movements were very awkward ala "SNL" in 2013.

- The costumes made it look like some Elton John, Drag versin of Bowie, Bette Midler etc

- The staging was strange, onedimensional. It was too busy, it could have been solved with something in he stage giving us perspective. Like steps, something to have different levels. That screen behind them didn't work well on tv. I have no idea if this was better live.

It was indeed chaotic.. I just give her props for going all out with this.

Of course Gaga wanted to do as many Bowie songs as she could. He's her hero. He's to her what she is to us. Her vocals were 1,000% on point, I don't know what the f*** you heard. Space Oddity and Heroes, especially. Her movements were so inspired by Bowie, and you can clearly see it. A lot of the movements he did on stage felt awkward, at least to me, from videos I've watched. She was definitely trying to move like him. I think you're being a lot harder on her than necessary. She covered all of her bases.

I came a bit hard on her, that's true and i apologize but i believe in most of what i said.

One thing is being a fan, other is being a professional and know what works best. She should know much better than this, it's her job. Sometimes she fails (a bit), that's normal but it's a fact. She was on pitch, i don't remember any point she was pitchy but her voice is very weak here and lacks brilliance. I didn't expect much more, that's how her voice is right now and she didn't have much time to rehearse, and when you're struggling a bit having all those are things to think about, you can say it was very fine. David's voice is very free and close to speeching, natural. It goes for the movements as well, his movements are just free. Her gestures, the way she is on stage, her posture, body language is consistent to what she has been doing. It's Gaga not Bowie, that's fine she doesn't have to repliate him for it to be an homage. It's just that it seems very odd, like she doesn't know what to with her body.

Hope you understnd what i was saying. She did great at Sinatra's tribute and it was very simple. This, on the other hand, suffered a toil from lack of time. When you have so little time for such a complicated performance, you must cover your basics and do a priority check. That's what i meant. She's still trying to find what works out for her, sometimes you nailed, other times you fail. This wasn't a fail but it's very inconsistent.

hugs

Economy

The technology hype that never delivered. Why did I suspect the hype as usual was blown out of proportion? :air:

Good job tho, excluding the hype expectations, it was well done!!!

People will forget about this as they should tbh, but thank GOD the media is on her side.  This performance probably made her gain as many fans as she lost.

Moving on to the oscars!

Yes!! Outside of the internet, everyone I've talked to said that she's slayed it. Honestly if all the media outlets are saying it's amazing then it's good for us. Personally, my friends, who are all Gaga fans, and I LOVED it. She did everything right. Just wish that she did less songs and did Heroes for longer. Suffragette City, Ziggy Stardust, and even Changes could have all been left out.

Sufragette City was the best moment of the performance along the intro, Fashion and Heroes
