It wasn't bad at all, but for me personally too many songs in too short time - it felt so rushed to, just everything.

I agree.  I'm a huge Bowie fan and have listened to nothing but Bowie for a month in mourning and honoring him and endless interviews and tears along the way.

I guess I was hoping for an emotional catharsis, like Gaga taking a couple of his songs that shift and change all in one song, as do the vocal tones all in one song, and really singing them to the depths of her soul and allowing my tears to flow by being so moved.  Just rushing from snippet to snippet all over the stage was a spectacle and entertaining, but I felt no emotion about it.  I guess it was selfish but what I needed it didn't give me, when I knew Gaga was more than capable of giving me what I needed.  But I understand they wanted to do a medley of songs and Gaga wanted to emulate him lookswise, but that made it a different kind of performance.

Pathetic...did she really think this performance was good? She hyped this? I love Gaga but this is an even bigger disappointment than skypeball or that sleeping with GaGa event. I can't believe she wasted a grammy performance slot on this.

The performance slayed. There was no new technology at all except a projector on her face that kept moving, a twerking piano and glowing Pom-poms on  her wrists

I think there were 3D projection effects towards the end. It probably was more noticeable in person but i kind of noticed it. Bummed it wasnt more apparent. :noparty:

That's intentional obviously, it's the way Bowie moved and danced ...

It was a fantastic performance. It was just a very different performance than a lot of monsters were anticipating based on the Intel ads and so they were disappointed.

They'll get over it soon enough and then they'll be able to appreciate the performance for what it was.

Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.

There's constructive criticism and then there's this

The only negativity is from gags fans and old wrinkled bowie fans. I loved it. It was bowie all over. Risky, a bit messy, imperfect... But brilliant.

Watched it.. I guess the performance on itself was good, but the technology wasn't really much special. Overall it looked like a Eurovision performance tbh.1

Y'all wanted this performance to be all about Gaga, to give us a hint into LG5, to make the GP want Gaga back, etc..

This performance was about David Bowie, and in this she succeeded, that's the only thing she needed to do, she did it.
