This is great! Hopefully some people will get a better understanding of how technologically advanced this performance was too.

She is the Boss Bitch omg

Other people would have a laptop in front of them, she has a typewriter :rip:

They should've aired parts of this in the commercial breaks tbh

can you tell me exactly what was innovative? like besides the face in the beginning and the robotic piano. i saw some very very cool glitter twister going on on the behind the scenes video but not on the performance. what else was like very techy? i´ll rewatch and make sure to try and spot it all

This video just proves that:

a) A lot of the technology wasn't used on the Bowie tribute

b) They are going to collab in future performances, probably for LG5.

:rip: I mean I don't know what else you want, that's pretty technologically advanced.

Especially for performance, the idea that you can project lighting and makeup onto a performer while they sing in order to transform and tell a story is major. It's so unreal and absolutely beautiful, they had to 3D print her face with different expressions and use the most cutting edge technology for that alone.

The interactive keyboard is also pretty amazing, it had sensors and tracked her movement so that it could dance and bring the microphone to her when she needed it. That's an insane level of robotechnics right there, I mean it's amazing.

Other than that they also used her motion sensors to project her onto the screen and blur her movements live during Rebel Rebel. Re-creating the very 1970's experimental video editing live while she performed.

Like this is all pretty high-tech stuff, and you guys seem disappointed that intel didn't re-animate Bowie's body on stage using frankenstein like technology while Gaga flew around the arena in a jetpack with some mind control remote blasting the audience and forcing them to perform some choreographed dance to Let's Dance or something.

well it didnt look like they "invented the uninventable" i also think that its a performance only live can be fully appreciated. that light around her sensors didnt even look 3D enough to look like it was floating around. it looked more like a backdrop

It's literally impossible to invent the uninventable. It's clear marketing hyperbole and if you were expecting Intel to literally invent something that is impossible to invent then obviously you were going to be disappointed.

I think it's incredible that Gaga bought some of the most incredible, cutting edge technology available and incorporated it into this performance. It was magical.

The technology is actually a lot more complex than it seems. In my opinion it didn't translate well into the screen, though. Especially in the last segment where she had the rings creating CG around her.

I think her performances was amazing, but the technology aspect was definitely overhyped. It was mostly corporate talk, so I can understand that they were only there for the attention.

I think a lot of the hype from Gaga and Intel about this performance is rooted from the future projects they are working on for LG5. This was just the beginning of  GAGA X INTEL and there are more groundbreaking innovations to come.

i know its marketing, but after all the hype you would´ve thought theyd have AT LEAST some camera blocking cuase the angles didnt help out at all, and the tech was still just un-impresive to the eyes. ive seen those effects before with cheaper and not as advance tech and it looks similar.

I believe this is a new video of her explaining a bit more the tribute and the behind the scenes of it.
