And that was not my point. Although David Bowie was her personal favorite, all three's influence on her as an artist played an equal role in the making of her professional career. There is no Gaga (as we know her) without Madonna just like there is no Gaga without Bowie. She simply wouldn't be here. And it goes far beyond Gaga drawing a lighting bolt on her face or making her own extensions of the cone bra. I don't understand why Grace & Madonna were dragged into this thread from the first place, though. The choice is hers and only hers to make. It's okay to dislike it, but I find it absolutely disgusting how some of you feel entitled to her body and to say what she must and mustn't do. She knows better, it's HER body. You guys don't get to say what is okay and what's not regarding tattoos and anything else that has to do with her body. It's her call, and only hers, no one else's. She's paying homage to him so we all need to back off and let her be. I'm not crazy about tattoos either but it's Gaga's body and she can do whatever she pleases with it so let's take it down a notch and stop bashing everything she does. We're her fans, not her parents! Only they have a right to tell her how they feel, but even they probably back off because she is almost 30 y/o! I disagree about that but anyway I didn't bring them into the conversation. They were mentioned because another user said that if somehow we find out that David Bowie didn't like Gaga then she is going to regret this and not mention him again like she did with Grace Jones and Madonna after they publicly bashed her.
