You can do what you want to your own body and nobody should judge you for it, and so can Gaga.

We shouldnt shame people for what they do to their own body but we can give their opinions and judge if they want..

When i post a pic of my body on my instagram for the whole world to see it you are very welcome to say whatever you want. Til then we are all allowed to express our opinion on whatever gaga chooses  to share with the whole world :smh:

Thanks for stating the obvious. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But if you paid attention to Born This Way, you would know that the only opinion that matters is your own. If you are happy with how you look - nothing and nobody can change that.

Radio Ga Ga

As long as she likes it, go ahead, but geez, is she sure she's not gonna regret getting so many tattoos later? What if she runs out of space later? Is she just gonna put new album tattoos on taylor or asia then?

These negative comments :wtf::wtf:

Not very Born This Way of you tbh :wtf:

I'm sorry but for me, Born this way means "Love yourself for who you are"

Gaga/Stefani is not born with tattoos

Being tolerant (Born this way message) does not mean to accept anything

Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I just think if you don't have something nice to say about someone, don't say anything. Or if you must, say it in a self-deprecating way. I always make fun if myself and my friends but it's because we know each other. I wouldn't publicly say something bad about someone I don't know or haven't met. When I'm around my just friends it's different - we say whatever we like.

I doubt you can find more videos or interviews of Gaga talking about Madonna being her inspiration than Gaga saying that Bowie was her inspiration. David Bowie and Grace Jones were her biggest and most obvious influences during the Fame era.

But still I don't understand what's your point? Yes, she talked a lot about Grace Jones before she talked **** about her and now she doesn't mention her at all but why would she say something positive about someone who is picking on her all the time? Same goes for Madonna. People like them don't deserve to get publicity from artists who are currently famous for their talent.

David Bowie, Grace Jones and Madonna are arguably her most crucial influences. They were all equally important in the making of Lady Gaga.

I can dig a few sources and videos that showcase Gaga's admiration towards Madonna.

(Madonna was the only artist which she mentioned twice in her top 20) - @1:02 and @3:55

some quotes :

"Speaking to NME TV in an interview which you can see this week, Lady Gaga said: "I was thinking about Madonna, she was a big inspiration and I was thinking about Prince when I was writing."

“I want to be around for 25 years. I admire Madonna and Courtney Love and the way they re-invent themselves and kick ass. I want to do that and be even bigger.”

"I mean, Madonna’s… she’s Madonna. I looked up to her for a long time."

"All it meant to me was that Madonna Ciccone was singing my song on her stage and I’m 27! And as a punk-rocker from New York, I’ve basically been hoping that I would become so good that one day I would piss off Madonna!"

"I don't want to sound presumptuous, but I've made it my goal to revolutionize pop music. The last revolution was launched by Madonna 25 years ago" in addition to commenting that "there is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me. I am the hugest fan personally and professionally."

-She personally thanked Madonna on her The Fame CD booklet.

Grace Jones, David Bowie... Madonna.

And truth be told, even though artists like David Bowie, Grace Jones, Freddie Mercury and Bruce Springsteen are huge influences on Gaga and her work, the dominant reason for Gaga's superstardom is rooted in the fact that she based her ensembles on Madonna's approach, tactics (I mean, I can elaborate endlessly on this one) and social contributions.

I don't understand why fans have such a hard time accepting that Madonna helped pave way for careers such as Gaga's. They are both terrific artists. Gaga is an incredible singer and can surely provide us with things that Madonna didn't or rather couldn't in her prime. There's no winners or losers here. Clearly, neither Gaga or Madge are aching their brain over this as much as the fans are. I mean, Gaga was literally dancing to Express Yourself a few days ago. :rip:

On topic : The tattoo is gorgeous, I hope she has enough time to heal before her performance though!

Looks horrible

Bowie would be rolling his eyes she did this after he died and before a tribute, putting his "face" on her body and not even quietly, doing it for publicity is how it seems, like look at what I'm doing.  He would find it classless, actually..  A nice tattoo honoring Bowie (not his face) done with no fanfare would have been far more tasteful.
