Gaga X Intel Prediction/Theory (Article)

Hey yall:) So I am sure that you guys are all just as HYPED as I am for Lady Gaga's highly anticipated collaboration with Intel/David Bowie Tribute which is set to premiere at the Grammy Awards this upcoming Monday? With all of these recent teasers and videos of the collab, I honestly do not know what to expect from the outcome. But, with that being said, I think I do have a decent idea of how things will all turn out, so I am going to do my best to break down what I've personally gotten from the teasers and try to put it all together into one overall theory?

Here's my monster prediction:

A major part of the performance will take place in *what seems to be* some kind of technological projection LED-Screen tunnel. Idk how to really describe it or what it actually is. I can only imagine what the mysterious "tunnel" is even capable of. But throughout the last two most recent teasers of the performance from Intel, the exact same strange tunnel is shown, leading me to believe it as being a major part of project.

So Intel most recently posted a short behind-the-scenes "preview" earlier today. The clip is rather short (only a few seconds long) and mainly consists of a few shots of highly advanced cameras and some lights. But towards the end of the video, this "tunnel" is shown with various designs and patterns being projected inside of it. There is even a moment in the video when a woman (probably a staff member) is seen standing within it in front of a camera.

 

 

 

With today's glimpse video being released, Intel also posted a brand new ad yesterday as well. Unlike the sneak peek that was released today, this video from yesterday was much longer in length and was an actual commercial/advertisement designed to hype us all up for the performance. In the *slaying* video, Gaga is seen posing inside THE EXACT SAME lit up "tunnel" contraption. Gaga wanders throughout the tunnel before walking towards a projection of stars, which sits at the end of it,  and then suddenly appears in outer space surrounded by stars and constellations. Seriously though, guys...the "tunnel" in the ad that was posted yesterday is literally THE SAME TUNNEL in the "behind the scenes" video that was posted earlier today. Watch again and look closely. Even the patterns in the tunnel from the ad are the same patterns depicted in the sneak peek. The environment that Gaga is seen in during the commercial released yesterday is the contraption that is spotted in the sneak peek video posted earlier today. It's the same thing. I am sure of it.

 

  How does it all link up though? Many people have been asking how this "groundbreaking" technology will all even link up to the tribute to David Bowie (after all that is what the entire performance is meant for). It's quite simple.

The performance will begin with Lady Gaga, most probably dressed similar to or even as David Bowie himself, inside of the "tunnel" which will be set offstage in some other location someplace else besides the Grammys. She will sing *and slay* a song or two from David's discography while lights and visuals surround her inside of the "tunnel" that I discussed earlier. The camera will be directly focused in on the tunnel, giving the viewers an inside view of Gaga within it while making all of the lights and visuals much more appealing to the eye (similar to the ad that Intel posted yesterday). Dancers might even join her at some point, along with maybe a Gaga outfit change or two. Remember that this will all be happening within the tunnel contraption. 

The main focus though will be on the lights and visuals being displayed and projected within the "tunnel". Intel could use the technology to display stars all around Gaga and her dancers, making her appear to be in outer space, ultimately linking it to Bowie. David Bowie was obssesed with outer space (he wrote MANY songs about it, from Space Oddity, to Ziggy Stardust, Lady Stardust, Starman, Life On Mars, etc) and this would be a clear and blantant reference to him. They could also project different videos and images of him inside of the tunnel as she performs his music within it. If pulled off right, it would truly be a remarkable sight to see and experience.

In the middle of the spectacle, after singing a song or two of his in the tunnel offstage, the cameras will all switch off and Gaga will then suddenly appear on the actual Grammys stage within the mysterious "cube" that was originally first seen in the ad that officially announced the collab. She will appear as a realistic, 3D holographic image unlike any that has ever been seen before. The technology will be revolutionary and like nothing ever witnessed prior. Gaga will be in a brand new outfit and will begin singing the final song as dancers join her on stage and she finishes the tribute with a BANG. The audience and the world will be in total shock at the realistic image of Gaga that will be present on the Grammys stage. It will move and dance and seem so realistic, only to be a hologram.

At the end of the performance, Gaga's performing hologram will then float up towards the ceiling above the audience and disappear into thin air, symbolizing David's ultimate passing on (him going into heaven or the next stage, etc).

 

Along with this, I think it would be quite cool and ideal for Gaga to perform this entire thing while wearing the iconic lightning bolt over her eye along with wearing contact lenses that match David's iconic pupils to pay tribute to him.

So....

I realize that I could be EXTREMELY overhyped and be thinking WAY out of possibility, but Gaga said it herself that this performance will make the impossible "possible" and the unthinkable "thinkable". Intel is such a major technology brand that they do in fact have the power, brains, and money to create such a performance. It would truly be the talk of the night, the year, and could ultimately change the way performances and music are percieved forever. They did after all say that this will be "the beginning" of something "revolutionary". Imagine holograms being introduced into concerts and shows....I just can't you guys. I AM SO ****ING READY FOR IT THOUGH UGH.

1. You have gone insane. You mentioned that the tunnel is a tunnel and AMAZINGLY appears in both videos (which are about the tunnel).

2. There is nothing iconic about David bowie's pupils. He had 2 different coloured iris'. Heterochromea.

I appreciate the effort for this. 

Tho I don't understand why they will put their "technological innovations" that is supposed to be released at the main Grammys on their teasers. Probably they will add something more. They won't be spoon feeding us with details instantly.

Also, waiting (or not even predicting it) will benefit the performance' shock factor.
