Well paint you pink and call you Patrick, you DO live under a rock.

He said that Gaga is serving rock in 2016. Why don't I hear any of it tho?

The lyrics are very straightforward and relatable like many good and loved lovesongs.

Also her delivery is very straightforward too. People in general seem to respond to this well. Her other songs just require a few more listens to grasp I guess. Gaga uses a lot of metaphors often in a funny way, not everyone picks up on that.

It's the same with her looks. For some reason, no matter how great she sang her songs acoustically on tv all these years, people still couldn't see past her outfits.

I feel a lot of people can't see past her production. I mean Edge of Glory always gets a huge response sung on tv talent shows like The Voice or when Gaga sings it acoustically. I guess many people don't like distractions. That's why Adele has such a wide appeal.

I think the average person assumes artists use distractions to compensate for a lack of talent, which of course is not the case with Gaga.

Very true, but I also feel people just naturally respond to something a simple as a beautiful melody coming from a clear voice or a beautiful instrument. Something primal, the sound going straight to the heart.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Lord Temptation

This song is a straight up hetero romantic track that incorporates country and rock, as well as Nebraska and Jesus Christ (i.e. Bible Belt America) in the lyrics. It's such an unlikely Gaga song and for that reason alone I think is the reason why the GP loves it. To them, it is such an anti-Gaga Gaga song.

It was my Dad's favorite.

Classic sound & classic style. Like a good Billie Joel song. Very glad she made it.

This right here.  It sounds like a classic pop-rock-mixed-with-country kind of song that everyone can related to and thoroughly enjoy.  You & I will become one of Gaga's timeless, classic songs because it will always sound fresh even 20 or 30 years from now.

I hope we have a couple of those types of songs on LG5.  It's always good if she has a nice balance of bops, ballads, and pop-rock classics like You & I and TEOG.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

It's the rock you're living under blocking out the sound of that masterpiece of a song.

Arizona Sky

It's one of Gaga's best songs along with BR & TEOG. It's very GP friendly & shows off her vocals & attitude.
