Looking at past SB performances, they usually start it out with a 1-2-3 punch of their biggest/memorable/iconic hits. For Gaga, I'd say the trinity is Bad Romance, Poker Face & Just Dance. Then they go into their special guest medley. Usually they perform one song from the headliner & the other from the guest. So maybe a song from LG5 would fit depending on who the guest is. Then the encore starts, which is usually the singer's most powerful & self empowering song that ends the performance on a high note. The Edge of Glory is perfect for that. It's truly one of the few memorable Gaga songs are very GP friendly & anthemic. Much more appropriate than Applause. Oh & performing BTW isn't the safest choice considering there are allot of red necks watching. She should play it safe at all cost.

She is where she is because she did not play safe. A bland and "like all the others" performance would be disgraceful to her art and message.

Mmmm

Everyone is including just Gaga songs which of course I'd love but I think she'll bring in someone high profile to duet with, half her song half theirs (think Elton John with Speechless/Your Song)

And for that I'm sure she could do just about anyone, but I'm hoping for Sting, Brian May or Elton John actually. Big stars, like maybe Annie Lennox actually. Or Stevie Nicks would be epic, I don't know if her and Gaga would but they completely should :flutter:

Also there's nothing I want more than her start with the epic "muh muh ma mauh" from Poker Face, and actually her Pop culture will never be low brow glasses as a throwback (guy can dream).

Poker Face/Just Dance mash up

You & I on piano with Brian May on guitar

LG5 single on piano with Sting or Elton John mash up, but with last big pumping chorus

Alejandro (cut short)

Bad Romance

Edge of Glory to round it off

What would be really cool is if she could get her guest stars to perform as her. Like I'm every icon but in reverse if that makes sense. Like obviously not all with a blonde wig but like small references to her eras or persona or something. She could get Cher to help her with that. She's friends with John Travolta now too, that might work too?

(sorry got carried away :deadbanana:)

1) But she had enough smash hits by then, and CLASSIC hits.

2) I'm talking about iconic songs by her. Dope was a "hit" but when Gaga comes to our minds Dope isn't the first one to show up in our thoughts.

Music & Gimme All Your Love aren't exactly songs that spring to mind for Madonna really, if anything LAV, Vogue & 4 Minutes are the songs that spring to mind most for me. Also Just Dance doesn't spring to mind for most people when they think Gaga; Bad Romance, BTW & even LoveGame do from what I gather. Also I honestly think she'd perform a collaboration she's never really performed much of live or sing another song with another artist she invites like i'd love for her to randomly sing with Kid Cudi again or invite Kendrick to randomly do Partynauseous (artRAVE version) lol
