KingRedd 3,139
Lol why are people so pressed about this song lmfao. It's not a "selfish" song. No offense but it's a black empowerment song so most of you all will not necessarily understand the lyrics and meaning behind them. It's just a quick song she put out calm down. Let's not forget the extreme negativity that applause came with when it was released being called "selfish" May I Read You? 😎

imwoahvicky 4,248
Although it's not my type of thing, I think it being about black empowerment was pretty cool? I don't know if she had the intentions to do this, but it was also a smart move for praise. Since society seems to think nowadays that if you hate songs like this, you're deemed as racist So I think it was smart to get some quick praise and no h8 or you'll be called the KKK black ppl haters!!1 ⚜ Roll Deep ⚜

Drunk In Love & Partition were both suuuuuuper sexual, showing off how in her own skin she was. and those songs were loved by like...everyone. Very well received. Idk where the black card is coming from, but no one on here is pulling it but you. actually a lot of people on this site were criticising her for being slutty with drunk in love and partition and being an "air head" Gaga x Nicki x Azealia x Ariana x Kesha x Bey
ARTPOPdidntflop 3,987
Everyone stop fighting, let's all sleep at night knowing that Bey is going home laughin with her big coins and people being bitter over the song, have to go to their wack job everyday to make their rent payments (they're jealous). RAMROD 109,352
Beyoncé have never let me down. And this new song is great too! And this is not new direction at all. If y'all ever hear sings on B'Day, you'll KNOW there are similiar beats there. This is THE REAL Beyoncé sounds. Not those Pop infused Put a Ring On It or Irreplacable. Bey have always been and will alwaya use R&B and Hip Hop and its sub genres in her music. Formation is another one of that. IDGAF with the haters right now, I am so in the zone with the new song. Y'all can be so choosey with y'all taste all you want, your life, your choice, boo.
Chris Evans 8,917
she's just appealing to the urban side of music that's gotten so big nowadays from streaming it's cheap but it's not like she has much to do with her music/artistry anyways she's a talented puppet which I realize is an oxymoron. She's a talented singer/performer and and okay actress but that's where her "artistry" ends the only reason people seem to connect her and her music so much is because most of her writers are making songs for her specifically and not songs that can easily be shopped around to others
arthurhmangum 4,408
This song is trash. No melody, superficial one dimensional lyrics, just typical hyping oneself up to make yourself better than others. Stressed, depressed, but well dressed.
