i wouldn't say DEFINITELY #1, but I would say DEFINITELY Top 10. as in, I'd put $1000 down on Top 10, but would be a little more careful on putting it on #1.

I'd say so. At this point in 2016 she has had absolutely nothing but constant viral media praise. It should be rather easy to snag a number one, and with good promotion, three or four number ones. 

If Gaga were to release in March, it would be like throwing a shark in a pond of goldfish. Especially if the song is good and the accompanying video is well done.

I also think this could be a year where Gaga can easily create a massive music video and achieve video of the year. Alot of videos recently have been incredibly boring and unoriginal.

This. The song could easily be cock-blocked as well. You never know when an artist is going to release a random spring/summer jam. Think Thrift Shop or Bruno Mars' last song.

Oops lol  yeah i don't follow the charts, all I know for sure is that most of the music on Hot 100 is really lame and if Gaga let's this constant media praise build up a little while longer, a #1 is 90% a sure thing.

I feel like Bey and Gaga are viewed differently by the people. Idk. Bey seems to cater more demographic in the past, unlike Gaga's (not that she's unlikable or something). It's hard to explain. But I guess we'll see if people will be expecting and will be waiting enough for that long delay. By that time, without any constant award or praise, I doubt GP still wants LG5. My guess, only stans will.

Like I said, anyone could easily snatch her moment with the right time and song. Only stans hype her.

I don't know about charts, but Gaga's next single is probably one of the most anticipated releases, especially by her. It's kind of the Born This Way single hype after The Fame Monster success, but this time it's the amount of recognition she's been getting in 2015 and 2016.

True. But I think new artists or risky single releases will be avoided once we know when the single is coming. It will be like Adele, actually. She has had so much great press that I doubt a label would risk trying to compete with Gaga now.

Google said people have been talking about Gaga 4X more than Beyonce, Coldplay, and the Quarterbacks combined. 

The NFL Poll on twitter today asked what people are most excited to see, and Gaga won by a landslide over Beyonce, Coldplay, and the commercials with a whopping 40% of the votes.

ya, artists can be REALLY sneaky when they say they have a #1 hit, or go on a TV show and tell the host to say, "performing his/her/their #1 hit". I think the dumbest one i ever heard was Nick Jonas celebrating his "#1 song Jealous". It went #1 on Ryan Seacrest's AT40 radio show...that's not even an official radio chart.
