After ARTPOP I'm genuinely not too bothered about her chart positions and sales but I still want her to do well, but I mostly want her to release in March because I want new music as soon as possible. After this month all of her 'side' projects will be officially over. Since the end of the artRave she's been occupied with C2C and the subsequent tour, the various different tribute performances, AHS and now TIHTY. Once the Oscars are out the way I'm guessing her involvement TIHTY will effectively stop so surely LG5 is the only thing she has left? I don't really think a few days ahead would be a 'surprise release' tbh. I think it would be a good idea to have a short window of hype before the single comes out, maybe a week or few days before. Especially off the back of all the performances and press she will have this month. But randomly dropping a single one day might not be the best idea, even though I would be really excited.
