Hmm reminds me of the movie Jermaine oversaw where they told about Michael's life (back in the early 2000's) and had the same black actor play him from the Off the Wall days to the case in 2003...they painted the black dude white about midway through the movie...

Michael was lightskinned in his later years so if that's the time that they're portraying, a white guy would probably be the best bet :laughga: if it's before that, get a nice black gentleman to do it. It's that simple.

Edit: Looked up Joseph sine E's site won't load. His skin is literally darker than Michael's was in 2001. :fail:

His features were more "white" than "black" later in his life so it makes sense that someone with more similar features plays him if they're playing him at that time :duck:

I saw on the news that apparently MJ told Oprah Winfrey that he did not want a white actor to play him.

I swear it's like people are digging to find something to complain about. MJ was white for most of his adult life. People need to stop ring offended over every little thing. The movie takes place in 2001 when he was already living as a white individual due to his skin bleaching. Get a grip people and stop getting offended over every damn little thing that happens. There are so many damn issues in the world and this is why people lost their collective crap over? Ridiculous.

I think you are going to be hard pressed to make any film with a Michael Jackson character in it and not run into some sort of controversy. A fantastic musician and dancer, certainly, but he was a bit eccentric at times. In terms of skin color, you could probably argue that technically he was white later in life due to losing skin pigment, but he may have identified still as a black man. I have no idea what his wishes would be now or what the best decision would be. It's tricky role even without the skin color issue.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

My internet connection is crap right now, all that's popping up is an error screen, can you give me the summary?

They're talking about tabloid lies. And Oprah mentions a story that Michael wanted little white boy to play him in a Pepsi commercial and he says it's one of the most ridiculous things. "It's my face as a child in a commercial, why would I want to... I'm a black American, I'm a proud black American, it's like you'd want Orient person to play you as a child, it doesn't make sense..." and then they continue to talk about his skin condition, Vitiligo and how he uses makeup to cover it up, not because he wants to be white.

Well MJ was white

He actually had skin disorder, which he covered with makeup.

But it makes sense tho. Finding a good actor with MJ's exact condition won't be easy.

Umm he looks NOTHING like the guy on the right that has the disorder..Actually a teacher of mine has that skin disorder and it can't be even covered well with makeup. MJ doesn't look black AT ALL in that pic.He just looks red at some places.... TO ME it's obvious that he wanted to become white or smth...And we can't trust what he says because he said that he never had a face surgery in an interview :awkney:

:awkney:

Are you his doctor or something? Do you have access to his medical files?

He's not suppose to look like the guy on the right, it's just an example of disorder, there are different stages and that person doesn't try to cover it up. Is your teacher black who has that disorder? How can you use him as example, when MJ's wealth obvioisly gave him access to best doctors and makeup artists? He just denied few surgeries in that video, he didn't say he never had any face surgery, he just had nose done at that time.

Here's more clear if you zoom in

Actually is quite obvious that he did have the disease from the pictures. He may have later bleached his skin in order to just get rid of the white and black spots. Also he did say to Oprah that he had nose surgery, he did not deny it.
