Anderson123 35,628 Posted January 27, 2016 Share Posted January 27, 2016 I'm not a fan of Azealia Banks and I didn't really care about her career, but Broke With Expensive Taste is a really good album. I even went to my local music store and bought the imported CD because I really wanted to have it in my collection. They only sent two of those to that store so it was a big deal to me. BUT let's say, ANTI has been the biggest mess so far. They don't release the album because there are hundreds of people writing for it and don't know what songs are even going to make the cut, while Azealia was mostly the writer on hers but the label didn't know what to do with it and they put it on hold. I'm excited for ANTI though, I will buy it for sure. It seems like it's going to be more hip hop than the rest of her albums. What I'm saying Gimme a Chance (even though it got changed a little), 212, Wallace, Heavy Metal and Reflective, BBD, Yung Rapunxel, Chasing Time, and Luxury where all released or performed live before the long waited debut of BWET. BWET was finished long before we actually got it. what you're essentially saying is you wouldve wanted her to just scrap it and release an entirely different album? what for? they were apart of it already. the album just got pushed back. and then Chasing Time, Heavy Metal, and Wallace were not released or even truly heard that long before the actual albums release though? Why would you even count them? Luxury and 212 were the only ones youve mentioned that ACTUALLY probably couldve been left off the record. But 212 deserved placement on her debut album imo. Luxury couldve been taken off for something new but I mean whatever. and gimme a chance is literally nothing like that demo she made when she was like 17 lol its a brand new song in itself. I was just counting the number of songs that has been heard before the album released which was 7... No need to break your hip over this fact BWET is a good album no doubt, but I wish the album came out closer to the release of the songs...
