lucastecala 795
But I think each era has an overall consistent look! The problem is you demand something too specific. One ERA lasts around two years: who can keep the same outfits, make up style and haircut for two years? Overall, though, there was always a pretty noticeble pattern. With TF, for example, everything was corny, bold, glamourous in an unapologetic, shiny, glittery, childish and lots of spike and very inorganic. TFM era wasn't a big jump from TF, the gramour was there, it was also very inorganic (losts plastic, metal, latex) but it was darker and cleaner. BTW definetely had a very consistent palet of colors. A lot of black, silver, with clearly punk/gothic/metal inspired looks, in which the glam was intentionally almost non-existent. ARTPOP was a rave with drugs and all, so every look was coloful, psychedelic and non sense. Cheek to Cheek was the return of the glamour, but this time it was more sober, adult and I think that now she is transitioning to this hollywood diva look that I don't know how long it is going to last, but I'm loving it.
