It's really hard for me to compare the two considering they are both so different.

Rebel Heart felt like it didn't really wrap up its message very well much like ARTPOP. But that's the only two things I find similar. Honestly neither are better. Rebel Heart had some bops but mostly flops. ARTPOP didn't really have a floppy song on it, but it also (for me) didn't have anything really that interesting or different.

Rebel Heart went wrong because Madonna got toooo depressing on it and the production was weak. Her vocals were better and more raw, but the songs themselves just felt like Madonna went back through her own discography and tried to "Diplo-tize" Music, Confessions, and Hard Candy B-Sides.

ARTPOP went wrong because Gaga got too hyped about songs that weren't particularly that interesting really but at least the production value was strong. The problem was the production became too outdated because 2013 began with the end of that sound and ended with the beginning of the "trap-pop" trend that Miley, Katy, Jason Derulo, and Iggy pushed into 2014.

I think you are right, but wasn't the album pushed back? I thought I read that somewhere. If it was supposed to be released early in 2013 it wouldn't of sounded so dated.

How can people say ARTPOP is more cohesive that Rebel Heart? Musically, ARTPOP sounds like a playlist of totally random songs from different albums, Rebel Heart musically sounds waaay more cohesive than ARTPOP.

The ARTPOP lyrics & concept are way more interesting...

Musically I enjoy Rebel Heart way more than ARTPOP.

No way! You didnt like Gone or I Deserve It?

No! It was a big disappointment especially from Slay of Light, and I would've loved a longer ROL era and a ROL only tour

What a stupid thing to do. Comparing one artists work to another artists work is taking art out of context. Compare Madonna albums with Madonna albums and compare Gaga albums with Gaga albums. Sheesh.

Hard Candy was Madonna's worst. That's some candy i don't wanna taste. yuck.

Hard candy slayed IMO. It was her ARTPOP as in what she wanted to the music to be.

Madonna's been on the decline since Ray of Light with her sound, last okay track she released was Hung Up from COTDF, everything else has been awful.

ARTPOP is a strong, vibrant, highly melodic piece of work. Rebel Heart sounded decent in concert, but it's limp and listless on record.

Limp. That's a good word. Like what Madonna does to the d*cks of men everywhere these days.

Rebel Heart should really be the last album Madonna puts out tbh and gagas worst era was ARTPOP. so i just wanna know which album in terms of music, lyrics, production and overall sound which is better.

PS. i think even in gagas worst era she still wiped the floor with madonna

i love your name by the way.

why does it have to be last madonna's album?? i'm not her fan at all, but i think that some little monsters are offending other singers (madonna, katy, britney), while saying that gaga is the best.... ok, for us she is the best, but for some other fandoms she is not.. how would you react if someone says that ARTPOP had to be gaga's last album??? WE SHOULD STOP DOING THAT!!!

btw, ARTPOP is better than rebel heart

Yeah why the **** didn't she do a tour for it only. It was one of her most successful albums. She did that with Bedtime Stories too. Insane. Madonna was probably sick of putting on her Spiritual Mother Earth act with Ray of Light.

I love Rebel Heart and went to the tour in Atlanta two days ago, but it has too many fillers that ruin its potential. It has some really standout tracks though. However, ARTPOP is and always will be better. It has a special place in my Rebel Heart. Lol. (Like what I did there??:lolga:)
