I remember there was a big deal about that and that some radio stations wanted to censor () that portion of the song. I was so very proud to hear that on the radio and be so open about it. At this particular point in her career, Gaga had the opportunity to cash-in and go on some hegemonic pop-star route. She instead took the risk with this album and song.
