Like this Gaga is sometimes too much in her own artistic bubble and can write about things only she (and maybe other stars) can relate to, like Applause. I love it, but I can see why some others wouldn't. Also she's not a newbie struggling artist anymore, she's not a heartbroken girl with on & off bartender boyfriend. She's in a happy place now which can also mean less inspiration to create songs most of the ordinary folks can relate to...and maybe that's her goal and she needs a bit of help from Diane and Elton.
