Ronlop 6,882
Is anyone expecting dance songs in LG5? I am kind of realizing LG5 might include 0 dance songs and will be more of a ballad, power anthem album. Elton John's words (I don't think he meant by 'Back to her early stuff' as back to The Fame or The Fame Monster ),LG5 Leak and Gaga saying: "I don't think the world only wants pop songs from me but also songs that are healing" in that podcast for TIHTY kind of made me get the idea that there won't be many dance pop songs, if at all. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing yet, though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
mariomania1234 11,368
I'm sure there will be. Just not necessarily in the same form she's done before.

GagaXCupcakke 3,818
I hope Gaga doesn't just cater to what the world wants. She needs to give the world what she knows the world needs to here. If she wants dance songs, she should put some dance songs on there. She shouldn't be a slave to the GP and there shitty tastes.

Deviant 85
What is a Lady Gaga album without danceable tunes? Pop stans seem to foolishly equate "dance" music solely with the rave-edm and ibiza club inspired hits of 2011-2012. Its not that one dimensional. While electronic dance music is my favorite "style" of dance music, you could also say that 'Cheek to Cheek' was full of dance tunes --- the title track is a Fred Astaire song, after all!! I'll take whatever Gaga has in store for us. Sure, I'd be disappointed with an album full of ballads, and I would be elated with an album full of synth-pop... But it's not up to me. I trust Gaga's creativity and I would prefer she follow that, rather than my narrow ideas of what I want from her (which are completely constructed on who she has been; only she knows what she is to become).
