This SLAYAGE.

Butterfly deserved more, tho. The three other singles (the title track, "The Roof," and "Breakdown") were KILLER.

agreed. The Roof, Butterfly as well as Prisoner, Make It Happen, Can't Let Go, Without You and Migrate all deserved to go #1

she could've had two more #1 debuts :poot:

Always Be My Baby and My All narrowly missed a #1 debut :poot:

She truly is an iconic queen. Like her stats are unparalleled. Plus her music is A+, she always delivers

kinda wish AIWFCIY reaches #1 someday :poot:

went all the way from its #26 peak to #11 last year. :poot:

Mariah's streaming power is very impressive among her peers :poot:

It'll definitely go top 10 this year with streaming. It deserves to be a #1 tho. It's weird that she has 18 number one singles and perhaps her most iconic single ever isn't one of them.

@DiscoHeaven23 can you add All I Want For Christmas Is You

Don't think it charted in the 90s because of billboards rules at the time. Forgot when it first charted

I don't believe it charted because back then the rules were that songs had to be official singles. But it has charted a few times this decade and once in 2000

The beyhive always tries to come for Mariah and this is my go to argument

18 #1s, 550M$ in the bank, 200M+ albums sold WW

Mariah is Queen!

Queen of abandoning pop music and still scoring Billboard #1s!

Unfortunately she isn't known as a touring act - she would've made wayyy more money but then she probably couldn't have released an album every single year in the 90s.

The thing is she had heavy demand back in the days but still toured less as it would stress her vocal chords.

Her tours qould be around 40 dates.

It's interesting how she made over $500M with barely touring
