I am a fan of Adele and a big fan of 21 but the release of her newest album 25 (which I found underwhelming eventhough it was a few good songs) made me realise how well-rounded artist Lady Gaga is. I realised that Gaga's ballads together can be better than most ''acoustic'' artist's albums, even when it comes to the powerhouse of acoustic music.

So let's have a contest and compare Lady Gaga's ballads with Adele's latest efford, 25.

The Lady Gaga ballad album will be:

1. Speechless

2. Brown Eyes

3. Till it Happens to You

4. Brooklin Nights

5. No Floods

6. Born This Way (Country Road Version)

7. You and I

8. Gypsy

9. Wonderful

10. Dope

11. The Edge Of Glory

*you can put your favorites instead when it comes to the unreleased tracks, I just added the most popular options

vs

Adele's 25:

1. Hello

2. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

3. I Miss You

4. When We Were Young

5. Remedy

6. Water Under The Bridge

7. River Lea

8. Love In The Dark

9. Million Years Ago

10. All I Ask

11. Sweetest Devotion

So objectively (at least try lol), which of these two albums would you prefer to listen to?

25 cause Adele is better at making ballads than Gaga, sorry. It is not that Gaga's are bad, it is just that Adele's are better.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Don't be sorry, that's the point of the thread. I find 25 mediocore at least tbh. There are only 3 songs that I love and 2 more that I somewhat enjoy. Dope, a ballad that so many people here trash gave me more emotions just 5 minutes ago than the whole 25 and that song is from 2013.

Well, ballad is Adele's expertise so it is understandable she's better on that field than Gaga. Though, Gaga tackles a lot of genre so she's more an impressive musician overall. Gaga's ballads are actually decent esp. Speechless/TEOG.

25 is cool but the album isn't outstanding, meanwhile, Speechless will remain untouchable.

Replace "Brooklyin Nights" and "No Floods" with "Let Love Down" + "Again, Again" and I'm in #objective

only three songs out of these I can really appreciate and they're all Gaga's but let me check 25's sales.

The sales belong to the charts and sales section, not on this debate. :koons:

Maybe I'm biased but it feels like Gaga's ballads are more lyrically diverse in terms of themes/styles.

Hair a ballad? :wtf:

I think it is considered a powerballad like TEOG (I have my doubts as well)
