The Academy does not let this affect their decision, since Diane Warren is the first named writer anyway, so how much or little Gaga wrote of it is actually not particularly relevant. This is the "Integrity" option. 2. The Academy is more motivated by getting advert money/ratings/social media buzz, so they certainly give the award to Diane and Gaga to get controversy. This is the "Entertainment" option. I don't envision a scenario in which Diane and Gaga lose the award because of what Linda said, regardless of its veracity.
