It's nice that Linda complimented Gaga's vocals, but by splitting them apart as she did, Perry was obviously implying that Gaga didn't write it. As @stef said, by phrasing it that way, she knew exactly what she was doing. Now, none of us were in the room(s) when the song was in conceived, so all that we know is what Diane has said since the beginning: they both wrote it. Linda literally explained why she doesn't consider Gaga's co-writing credit to be correct and her point of view is legit even if you don't agree with it. It's basically the same point of view this forum always uses when another artist is involved. Plus, Linda heard a demo and explained that only one line was changed. This was no secret. This stupid Perra hoe is just strategically stirring **** to attract all this negative attention. Dumbass. Now the media will talk about this mess even if the song wins instead of the actual message of the song. I hope Diane puts this dumb bitch in her place. She had to have known that would cause some sort of response. Perhaps one line of lyrics was changed. Perhaps the lyrics stayed exactly the same. There are other components that Gaga could have potentially had a hand in. We don't know. All that Perry seems as back-up is this demo, which I would certainly love to hear. If she was really as vicious as you all pretend she is she would've just said: "especially Diane Warren who wrote a beautiful song" the end. She complimented Gaga's vocal performance twice. I don't get why thats not enough for you people, especially when she very straightforwardly explained why she doesn't consider Gaga to be a real co-writer. And yes we all know Gaga changed the general sound and feel of the song but for Linda all of those things obviously fall under her production credit and she's not crazy for that, that's a fairly logical way of putting things even if you don't agree with her.
