Oh thank you so much. I really wasn't having a underestimating attitude towards the award. I just didn't know if it was crucial.

It won't and it'd just mean that it wouldn't affect the outcome of the Oscars.

Either WOTW or TIHTY are winning this, but I'm betting on WOTW

WOTW wasn't well received, it's not going to beat out TIHTY.

These awards are moderately prestigious, but are well known for accurately predicting Oscars winners (70% chance) more than anything else.

They're more industry focused than public facing, but they've gotten bigger over the years.

Its the first time that the TV and movie awards are being combined into one show, and the first time they're having a televised red carpet. They've gradually been increasing in ratings over time.

As a comparison point, they're known as the rivals to the Golden Globes.

Being aired on Lifetime. hmmm...The Billboard Woman of the Year was aired on Lifetime. Gaga was Billboard Woman of the Year. Lifetime aired the show for the first time this year just because Gaga was present. Lifetime loves Gaga. 

Since Lifetime was nice enough to air these up and coming awards, The Critics Choice Awards will be letting Lifetime choose the winners, not the Critics. Lifetime will choose Lady Gaga.
