I am so keeping my fingers crossed so that Gaga snatches that Oscar.  You guys have no idea how happy I'll be if she wins her first Oscar.  Literally, I will be beside myself.     :deadbanana:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Why? :ohno: The sound of Writing's on the Wall is amazing  I've only ever heard people complain about the lyrics and how they fail to capture the esscence of James Bond's persona :duck:

I know it was supposed to be a personal view of Bond but Sam's f**king falsetto was not necessary. The instrumental was amazing though, and I loved it when it played in the background but god, some one else should have sung it or he could have not done the falsetto.

OMG, you guys, stop crucifying my boy Sam Smith... LEAVE SAM SMITH ALONE!

(I agree, the falsetto wasn't really needed, but the song sounds amazing, the instrumental slays... But even if someone else had sung it, the lyrics simply don't work... I don't think he'll get the Oscar)

But I'm only a man and I do what I can.

I agree, those songs aren't Oscar-worthy at all. I'm glad however, that they nominated Earned It, even though it's from 50sog and it probably doesn't do that much for the critics' reputation. But the song really "Earned it" :green: (no pun intended)

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE Earned It (and Writing's On The Wall).

I think WOTW is going to be a huge threat, but with the surprising exclusion of See You Again, I think there's a possibility the Oscars give us another surprise by giving the award to Manta Ray or Simple Song #3 as opposed to more popular tunes like those from Sam Smith and Gaga.

Also the competition for Grammys is intense. Let's just pretend Gaga wins the Oscar,

another Oscar winning song Glory is competing for the win. :rip:
