Sarah Paulson was interviewed, and she said, when Chelsea asked if Gaga was returning this season, that she is not allowed to say anything about it. Are we sure Gaga is confirmed? Perhaps she did not fulfill some of her promises that she made in 2013 but then some of them were unintentional, it's not that she's unreliable like some of the unofficial Twitter accounts out there. Ever since 2015 she's been very cautious in her words and when she confirms something, it will happen. She literally said 'yes' when asked if she was going to return to AHS, and various sources confirmed that she's been shooting scenes with the filmmakers. I think you are intentionally pissing people off if you say something like "Yes, I'm returning to AHS." and then later "Wait, did I say it was season 6? No, your bad at not reading things properly." So I'm inclined to believing that she will return in season 6. The media has already reported of her return and I think if she didn't intend to make at least an appearance in season 6, she would have made a clarification by now. Matt Bomer and Leslie Jordan also confirmed that they would be working with Gaga at some point, so I suppose it's not just a cameo but a main role.
