Maybe not as Ryan said that if two seasons were made, there would be two different teams of writers

They should get writers from How to Get Away With Murder while they're on break. The story of that show is very cohesive, flawless and their reveals are really OMG reveals, not like the John-is-the-Ten-Commandments-Killer reveal.

To be truly honest, I don't want any of writers from any Shonda Rhimes shows in AHS ^^

They're all flawless, well except from Scandal. Remember the current writers gave us the second half of Coven, the entirety of Freak Show, with the exception of the first four episodes and, at some parts, Hotel.

I love all AHS seasons though.. They are all very different and have their own amtosphere

What I meant is that AHS is the complete opposite of any Shonda Rhimes shows... I don't think her writers would fit in AHS universe and I don't really like the idea to see a writer from a show like Grey's Anatomy to write a script for AHS...

Rhimes' shows are made to sell and to be commercial as hell, no risks in the writing and themes... She's probably good in what she does but it's just not AHS... I don't see her creating a edgy show aired on cable

I can't speak for other shows but How To Get Away With Murder isn't that commercial to me.. It's a very different type of drama/crime show it's very well done. The first two seasons of HTGAWM honestly beat the recent seasons of AHS for me and AHS is my favorite show of all time. I would give HTGAWM a chance tbh you wit regret it the twists in the show are very well done

I'm just catching up on Season 2 of HTGAWM at the moment and it's incredible! I love AHS and the unique ways the stories are told, but I would really love a season with some mind-blowing suspense/twists/reveals in the way that HTGAWM has - that show is perfect for it.

Asylum is the closest to that kind of story telling in my opinion and it's why I would love AHS to do a real thriller season, something that was more psychological rather than supernatural and that has you on the edge of your seat. I love AHS regardless but I think it would be fun to have a season with that kind of horror to it, as opposed to lots of blood and gore.

I think it would even be cool if they did what Desperate Housewives would sometimes do which is to let the audience know who the villain is, and that they have a dark secret, from the get-go, all the while the other characters remain clueless, thinking the person is innocent and slowly become aware that something is wrong as the season progresses... if that makes any sense? There have been elements of that in AHS but I'd love for them to really go for it. Maybe I just miss DH but now that I think about it, a season of AHS set in the suburbs with perfect houses, perfect gardens and perfect families all hiding dark secrets behind closed doors (perhaps with some kind of secret cult and a serial killer on the loose,) sounds like it could be really interesting; AHS: Suburbia.

We need some actual concrete information to be revealed soon because I'm going mad with the wait and over hyping myself!

Lady Gaga and Ryan Murphy are the same in term of saying nothing to fans...

Pretty much. I'd rather have the writers from Penny Dreadful, or hell, even Stephen King (messy as he is when it comes to something outside of his prime medium). Darin and Glenn Morgan would possibly be cool too.

Though I think I see where someone could desire an attempt at a coherent well-made story even if it comes from a writer on a Shonda Rimes show. AHS is amazing when it's good, but huge train wreck disaster when it's bad. There was a point last season when it began to feel like it was completely written by amateurs, like when Tristan became a completely different character within minutes. Or Devil's Night when all the famous serial killers spoke like comic book parodies and a huge plot point crucial Chloe's character's development got reduced to a b-plot.

He should not drag the two ideas thing. I mean, Coven and Freak Show are tragedies. That's just them making an idea, not two. If they're thinking of two ideas, prepare for poor quality seasons.

Freak Show and Coven were both nominated for Emmys and both received a Rotten Tomatoes score of above 80%.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Freak Show but I thought Coven was really good. I don't understand why people hate it that much.

Won for acting. We dislike the seasons because they're great at first then it all goes to ****. Did Coven and Freak Show win Outstanding Miniseries at the Emmys? No, they just stayed nominated. It's all preference but I think I speak for many people that those two seasons were the worst. Hotel's bad but not Freak Show- or Coven-bad.

Have you seen the scores of Freak Show's episodes? The first to fourth episodes of American Horror Story are always promising. That's why they got that 80% score you speak of. I dunno why Hotel's was low but I thought it was good.

That's funny because it's a thing that divide AHS fans every years is to know what is best seasons or the best ordering of the seasons and at the nobody agrees on it :yay:

I know  lot people who love Coven. My dad's favorite one is Freakshow... a lot of my friends love Hotel more than Coven or Freakshow.. In brief nobody agrees about it... So I guess all seasons are great but very different and could fit to anyone's tastes...

They could have Troye Sivan's song SUBURBIA featured in it! :excited2:

Was there news that this season is being filmed early? Or am I making that up?

I hope to see Gaga and Jessice Lange together in at least one scene :)  that'd be nice. And I think Sarah Paulson deserves more time next to Gaga too! I can't wait for next season. Has there been any news on what the possible clues for next season are that were hidden in Hotel?

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Yep it's starts shooting in late June :)

Apparently next season theme has been adressed since season 1 but never used as main theme, so I guess there's clues in several seasons

This must be the "children" season. I bet Michael from S1 will be in it. But that's what I said before last season so maybe just reaching :neyde:
